Cheshunt v Old Streetonians 16/09/2017
Cheshunt secure victory in their first home game of the season.
Streetonians had better of opening exchanges, C’s forced to defend deep in own half for first 10 minutes.
When finally they were able to clear and get into Streets half, Johnno slotted a pen from just inside 10 metre line.

broke upfield, C’s kept possession through the phases, alyhough they dropped the ball with the line at their mercy, they had another penalty to double their score after 12 minutes.
Taking control of the game, Johnno pinning oppo back with some nice kicks.

Streets had their best moments for a while and camped in C’s half until theu had a simple pen.
C’s spent the rest of the first period in Streets half but were unable to add to their total.
Streets started well in 2nd half, JB yellow carded for not rolling away close to the line and they pulled a try back just 3 minutes into the second half. Cheshunt were guilty of not clearing their lines from the kick off, a couple of poor decisions had kept Streets in the 22.
Johnno had his first failure of the afternoon, a difficult penalty attempt wide on right against the breeze just went wide.
But C’s enjoying dominant scrum and lineout and were winning the breakdown, Streets living off scraps.
Another penalty at the breakdown, up the line, ball off the top, nice move in the backs, Rule and Bolton instrumental in setting up the ball for the forwards to drive captain Aydan over the line, 20 minutes on the clock.
C’s ran the game but unable to add to their total, camped in 22 for the last 10 minutes but a speculative chip over the top from the S fly half was then fly hacked up to half way, the left wing collected the bouncing ball and sped to the corner, 18 -13 FT
