Cheshunt Rugby Club, Sponsorship 2009/10

The 2008/09 season has been another successful year for Cheshunt Rugby Club, with the 1st XV wining the Herts/Middlesex Division One league title.  The club also has a flourishing mini (6 to 12 year olds) and youth (13 to 17 year olds), which has also seen many winning teams across the age groups.

We are now looking to secure sponsorship for the 2009/10 seasons.  With an adult membership of over 100 and 300 plus membership in the mini and youth section (followed by active parents), the total direct audience is over 1,000.  Added to this, is coverage in the local press and magazines, and the indirect audience (grandparents, siblings, supporters, visiting teams).  

We have many different sponsorship options:

     Shirt Sponsorship (subject to availability)

                 1st XV £750 + vat

                 2nd XV £700 + vat

                 3rd XV £650 + vat

     Shirt sponsorship is also available for mini and youth age groups. 

     Pitch Hoardings £200 + vat for the first year (paying for the hoarding

     itself), and then £100 + vat each year.

     Half page advert in the Yearbook £60 + vat

      First Team match sponsorship £100 + vat

Other deals and ad hoc advertisement and sponsorship are available.  

Rugby is an all inclusive sport with a playing position to suit anyone.  Although we have many successful teams, Cheshunt Rugby Club is open to anyone regardless of ability.  Over 300 hours are volunteered each week by team managers, coaches and administration support.

London 10k Run

A number of Cheshunt Players will be taking part in the London 10k Run on Sunday 12th July - would you like to join them and help raise money for charity? All CRFC members over 15 years old are welcome - including Mums and Dads

9th June - Curry Night

8pm, Déjà Vu Indian Restaurant, High St, Cheshunt EN8 OBX. Only £15 per head (pay on the night). All adults welcome, contact Steve Briggs for further details. The club will receive a percentage of the takings on the night, so do try & attend.

10th July  - Quiz Night

8pm at the Rugby Club. Adults only - £10 per head to be paid on the night (includes a meal) - teams of no more than 8. Each age group (U7s through to seniors) is expected to create at least 2 teams, outsiders are more than welcome. Once you have created a team, please contact Bill Cooper with the team name, members names & food preferences (Chips with either Chicken/Sausage/Fish).

8th August - Disco

8pm at the Rugby Club . Adults only. Tickets £10. Further details forthcoming.

Cheshunts’ 1st XV crowned off a fantastic season by being champions of Herts/Middlesex League 1

Congratulations go to all players of the 1st XV squad who’ve worked hard throughout the season and also to the coaching team of Steve Waller, Mike McKay and Steve Frost
