2007 CLUB DINNER
The club dinner was held on Saturday 30th June at the club with a large number of players, VP’s and guests in attendance.
Despite pressure to bow to political correctness, the event remains (for the present anyway!) an all boys event.
A three course dinner was followed by a rather horrible boat race contested by the award winners namely:
Sean Donnelly – Player of the Year
Carl Williams – Young Player of the Year
Omid Amani – Clubman of the Year
James Linsell – 2nd team Player of the Year
Simon Embleton – picking up the 3rd team award on behalf of someone else (that’ll teach him!!)
Unfortunately the younger contingent couldn’t match Simon Embletons’ drinking pace,

The proceedings then moved onto a rather unfunny comedian, followed by karaoke and further merriment.
Thanks must go to Wicksy and Lord Batten for organising the event and to bar steward Mick Reynolds for serving up some delightful and colourful drinks
