Message from Old Grammarians
I wanted to drop you and your U13's team a personal note of gratitude for their help on Sunday.
Unfortunately, one of our players was injured during the match and your coach, "Skippy" (I'm so sorry that I do not have his actual name) was absolutely fantastic, offering First Aid assistance and support to our injured player and his coaches. He could not do enough to help and the team wanted to ensure this was acknowledged.
Your coaching team, players and parent's demonstrated the true spirit of rugby and that is why everyone at Old Grammarians is proud to be part of the rugby family; You should be incredibly proud of your team and your club.
Please let Skippy know that the player involved was taken to hospital but released later that day with a fractured humerus. Despite this, his dad tells us he is in good spirits and cannot wait to get back on to the pitch!
On behalf of our player, his parents, our coaches and everyone else at Old Grammarians, thank you once again for your help and support at a difficult moment.
With very best regards,
Angela
