The sun was shining on Cheshunt RFC in more ways than one on Saturday, as we remembered all past and present Cheshunt Legends and raised £900 for our chosen charities on our annual charity fun day.

First up was a home win for the Cheshunt Vets against Harlow Vets securing the Bradley Knight Cup. The 2nd XV then won their opening home league game against Hitchin. And then finally the 1st XV won their first home league game of the season in a titanic battle with Welwyn.

To make the weekend even more special, on Sunday our Senior Ladies won their first home league game of the season against Battersea Ironside Ladies.

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the day and of course a big thank you to our Club President 'The Wizard' for organising the event and for showing us normal people how he still has the magic by scoring two tries for the Vets.
