CHESHUNT will go into their match at close rivals Barnet Elizabethans in division one of the Herts/Middlesex this Saturday in good shape.
The Andrews Lane side have won two of their last three matches including a resounding 37-0 home win over Old Millhillians.
Cheshunt are fifth in the 12-team division but can go fourth if they beat Barnet.

Saturday’s performance was one they had been threatening
for weeks against a team who had pulled off a shock win over the previously unbeaten Barnet the previous week.
Cheshunt took an early grip on the game going ahead in the third minute.
Lien-out possession was won by the hosts before Omid Amani crashed through the middle and quick ball was given to Richard Valentine, who outpaced the covering defenders to score in the corner.
Shortly after, Tom Claridge nearly scored a second try for the hosts but added to the score a few minutes later but Cheshunt were controlling the game with their powerful set piece.
Millhillians were unable to string together any decent amount of phases and rarely got beyond the half way line.
The visitors paid for kicking the ball away in the 19th minute.
Donnelly collected the ball just inside the half, and Amani and Jake Phillips made further ground before Phillips’ pass found Dave Lever, who danced around the last defender and touch down in the corner.
The conversion hit the post and did not go over.
Cheshunt led 10-0.
Millhillians tried to attack through the middle, but a crunching tackle from Claridge won the ball back for Cheshunt.
It was soon in the hands of Billy Roberts who raced over from 30 yards for an unconverted try on 25 minutes.
On 28 minutes, Cheshunt scored their fourth try which earned them a bonus point.
Good work by Roberts from a scrum preceded Claridge going over for an unconverted try, and the home side led 20-0.
The home side stretched their advantage with a fifth try before the break.
Millhillians had a line-out close to their line but Cheshunt’s
Josh Willcocks was first to react to the loose throw, and from a few yards powered over to touch down.
Millhillians had their best spell of the match in the first 10 minutes of the second period, but the Cheshunt pack were in no mood to relax at the scrum and the visitors were denied any platform to go forward.
Any slightly promising attacks were soon snuffed out by Tom Mcgowan, Claridge and Amani in the backs.
Cheshunt missed a couple of opportunities to add to their lead, and did not do so until they were able to sustain some consistent pressure in the Millhillians 22.
From a scrum close to the visitors line, McGowan was able to slip the ball to full-back Dan Saunders.
He an a lovely line to outfox the defence to touched down under the posts.
Saunders kicked the conversion and Cheshunt eld 32-0.
and added the extras to stretch away to 32-0.
There was time for Cheshunt to score their seventh and final try. surged up the slope.
Lever took the ball to within a couple of metres and Amani was quick to pick up from the back of the ruck and dive over to touch in the corner.
