More Success for the Under 8's

Both Under 8's Teams enjoyed Victories against both Stevenage & Letchworth in their final friendly game of the 2012/13 season.

The Spartans enjoyed an easy 8-3 win against a very organised Letchworth team in their first game.
Learning from their mistakes from last weeks Cup Final loss, they ran in four early tries in the first half after good passing and interchange play. The second half, playing up hill, they kept the pressure on & tagged out Letchworth twice, & subsequently scoring from the turn overs.

The Trojans also won against a stubborn Stevenage team, running out 8-5 winners. Despite some of the Cheshunt players not having a match in nearly 5 weeks, they played well in both attack & defence. With the festival only a week away this put all the coaches minds at rest.

On the reverse fixtures, the Spartans made hard work of beating Stevenage.
Unforced errors give Stevenage a flattering 2-2 half time scoreline. Playing down hill in the second half, Cheshunt finally got into gear running out 7-4 winners.

The Trojans went down 7-5 against Letchworth, with the heavy ground taking its toll on their young legs. Once again though, they kept on battling despite losing one of their substitutes to injury.
