Last run out for the Under 10s 12/13

The Under 10s hoped to follow up on their recent form with a successful morning of Rugby at the Tring Festival. However it was not to be. The first match against Bicester A saw the U10s at a loss. They held on by the skin of their teeth for the first few minutes of the game but once Bicester had worked out our game plan they were passing the ball out to their very fast wingers and ran in 3 tries to end the game 15-0. The second game against Chinnor saw Cheshunt up their game and hold off a very strong side to a 0-0 draw. Some excellent play fired the lads up and their third game against Tring was a very hard fought match from start to finish. Although ending the game with a 5-5 draw the teamwork and spirit of play was a credit to the players and the coaches.

Although it would have been incredible to end the season playing U10s with a little bit more silverware it was not to be. The progress that the players have made through the season is notable and the coaches are already looking forward to the next season where the step up to 5 man scrums and 4 man line out.
